I was born 39 years ago in Elin Pelin, Bulgaria, 

I have been active sportsman for 20 years, the last 10 of which focused on alpinism and triathlon. I am joining this challenge since I want to support disadvantaged children.

Similar is also the cause of my next project "Bulgarian on the three poles".

For the third time we, DECHITSA Foundation, will take part in 1000 km Balkan Charity Challenge.

We are enthusiasts, friends and volunteers who believe that every child is unique and needs and only needs a little to reveal their potential.

The children we work with live in family-type centers. They work with various professionals and volunteers who aim to establish close and trusting relationships.

Children learn different basic skills, like traditional and modern dances, ceramics, foreign languages. Above all, they learn to believe in themselves and feel accepted and supported.

This year we, the members of DECHITSA, will again take part in the Running challenge to set an example we are trying to follow – to be the best version of ourselves!

The funds raised will be used for one-year culinary course for seven children and young people. It will help them acquire practical cooking skills that they can use in their professional future.
